I am trying to connect a Mac Mini 2010 (OS X 10.6) to a Mitsubishi WS-4813 TV using HDMI to DVI-I dual link adapter (HDMI out from Mac Mini, and a DVI adapter to the TV).

I tested this set up briefly about a year ago and it worked. But now it doesn't; I get absolutely no signal on the TV from the Mac.

A much older HP laptop using the same HDMI cable and adapter, however, works perfectly! The PC connects to the TV using both Vista and Windows 7. I tried connecting the Mac Mini to the TV via Vista in bootcamp but it still would not work.

I tried a brand new quality DVI- HDMI adapter but that did not work.

I also zapped my Mac's PRAM.

This is very frustrating as I really want to use the Mini as a dedicated media box and have it hooked to the TV.

Any help or guidance much appreciated.

Did you check the hz the question i always ask.

Let me explain.

Every monitor has hz example my hp monitor i use with my mini supports.

1440x900 at 75 hz.

The question i would ask is what hz is the tv at example my tv supports 1080p at 75 hz

if you set the hz wrong for the tv you will get no signal or a signal out of range error message.
