i have bought a new mac mini at christmas....having hard time trying to figure out how to transfer my music library from my old 2005 model to my new 2011 mac.....external dvd player???? thumb drive???
this website has been helpful before maybe someone has a short quick answer

if you have an external hdd you can click and drag the music from old mini to hdd then from hdd to new mini.

I'd use Target Disk Mode.
