Has anyone had mini 2.1 addressing more thank 3Gb RAM yet?

Not as far as I know. With 4GB installed, mine still only recognizes 3GB.
Who knows maybe someone else has other information.

Nope. You are going to have to change your sig to 3GB  .
My 1.83GHz C2D shows 4GB of RAM when you click about this Mac, but if you look at Activity Monitor, you will see that only 3GB is being addressed. |

Okay fair enough,,,,,but I do have 4 installed, it just only see's 3. I am still laughing over that Bill. Great comment to me.

After doing a bit of research, it appears that the reason for the ~3GB limit is not the 32-bit kernel, but the Intel chipset used on the 2006-2009 Intel Minis. There's no getting around it, unfortunately. The best 1,1 Mini owners can do is hack the firmware to turn theirs into 2,1.

That is correct. It has nothing to do with the OS, but the firmware.
