I got a nice deal on a Powermac G5 1.8 & I would like to Upgrade the AGP Graphics Card. I have a Card that the sites say will work, but since it came out of my PC, they talk about needing to Flash The Card first. The procedure is a long winded one & I'm wondering if this is really needed. I don't want to just put the card in the G5 & have something fail. BTW. the Graphics Card is a Geforce 6200 DDR2 256MB AGP. The other thing that concerns me is the G5 takes DDR PC3200 Ram & this Graphics Card is DDR2. Will that make a difference? So does anyone have experience on this sort of thing? I would appreciate the Help. Thanks in advance.
