MAC MINI SOLO HAVE NO WIRELESS

just got this 2006 mini intel and i'm new to mac's.
So the problem is no wireless .
Its running 10.5 but cann't hook up to my wireless router. It works fine with ethernet cable.
I run wireless on 2 other pc without a problem and 3 iphones.
does any body know were i should start to fix the problem. also is there a wireless card in the mini like in pc's because i'm planning on upgrading processor in mini so i could but a new wireless card in it, if you think that would work.

check to see if you have wireless...
click on the apple icon (top-left) menubar
click on "about this mac"
click on "more info..."
click on "Network"
click on "Locations"
if you have wireless it should show in the right-hand panel.

i will check tonight. i know the wireless thing is over in top right corner. and my wireless name comes up and i type my password in and it searches and then saids unable to connect.

but then under airport card i see this
wireless card type airport extreme

so do i have a card in there or not...
when i click wireless sign on top right screen. airport on/off which i have on and my wireless name shows up there and i click it and put in my password searches and times out. i have put the mac right near router and also close to my pc which is running wireless and still same requests.

I can answer this how many devices communicate with your wireless the reason i ask is you might have reached your limit of wireless connections on your network.

Also most airport extreme cards are g cards so if you have a n router it won't communicate it will just sit there or time out.

When you Click on "Network"
Your "Active Services" should be displayed.
If you have a working Bluetooth Card then
"Bluetooth" will be listed. If your "Ethernet"
is working then that will be listed. You should
also have "Firewire" and "Wi-Fi" listed. Does
"Wi-Fi" show up? If "Wi-Fi" isn't listed then
its malfunctioning or you don't have a Wi-Fi
Card installed.

If you have a Wi-Fi Card installed, then how far
is your mini from your router? I think your
model of mini has one small crappy Wi-Fi
Antenna. You can add a second antenna if
necessary as well as install better antennas.

Oh yah, yes you can install an "N" Wi-Fi Card.
You may have to upgrade your OS in order
to use it though.
