I've got a 226 mhz speed Core 2 Duo Mini from March 2009 and I'd like to upgrade the processor.
What is the fastest cpu that will work with this machine? And where can I purchase it? |

I'm not 100% on this but I think your already there.
Early Intel Macs had plug in processors and could be upgraded to Core2 Duo 1.66GHz - 2.33GHz processors by simply swapping the processor. Later models however are no longer plugged into sockets but are soldered directly to the logic boards so upgrade isn't really an option. _________________ Phil

| Bummer. I did some additional research and it does appear as though you are correct. Thanks for the input. |
