FIXED: iCal - getting it to launch on login

I have enabled iCal to open upon login by adding and enabling it to the Login Items in Accounts.

Unfortunately, this only opens it. It doesn't launch the app.

iCal>Preferences has no radio button or check box for this feature

I'd really like to see my appointments whenever I log into my Mac is there any workaround?

ETA: Fixed. I accidentally checked the "hide" box in System Pref.>Accounts>Login Items after I added iCal to the list.

It launches now. Perfect!
