Nice, but I thought that I read something about Apple ending support for Java. Future updates would have to be downloaded from Oracle. _________________ 2011 Mac mini with 8GB of RAM

I can't use GoToMeeting because Apple hasn't updated Java for Leopard. This has put me at a disadvantage. I don't want to upgrade to Snow Leopard. Lion would be a waste of time on my old 2008 computer.
I went to the Java site and they only say "Mac Users:Use the Software Update feature (available on the Apple menu) to check that you have the most up-to-date version of Java for your Mac." They don't mention anything about being limited to only the newer versions of OS X.
This is what I found under the Application Name section:
Java Web Start:
Version: 12.9.0
Last Modified: 7/4/11 5:24 PM
Kind: Universal
Location: /System/Library/CoreServices/Java Web Start.app
The Apple Software Update tells me that there is no new software for my computer. So that means I've got the latest and greatest for OS X Leopard.
