First off, I have been the proud owner of a Mac for a week now (although my wife has several dating back to a 2003 eMac). I found a late 2006 Mac Mini on Craig's List for $300, including EyeTV3 and the Hybrid tuner ($200 New for that alone). Hopefully you guys think it was a good deal too.
The primary use for this is as a DVR using EyeTV, but maybe more as I figure out what programs are out there for the Mac.
The mini came with 10.4 Tiger. I have Leopard upgrade disks from my wife's father. With Snow Leopard at $30, that is definitely an option too. Any suggestions on which I should use and why?
