Apple Releases Mac mini EFI Firmware Update 1.4

Apple has released the Mac mini EFI Firmware Update 1.4 via their Software Update Utility and website for direct download. According to the company, this update fixes several issues to improve the stability of Mac mini (mid 2011) computers and is recommended for all users. The Mac mini EFI Firmware Update 1.4 weighs in at 4.01MB and requires Mac OS X Lion 10.7 or later.

I've updated two 2011 Minis and it worked fine. Will need to install the update for the other 2011 Macs (not Minis) I administer as well sometime. _________________ Laptop - 2012 15" base rMBP with 16GB RAM
HTPC - 2.0Ghz Mac Mini (Early 09), 120GB 5400 RPM HDD and 4GB RAM
Another Mini - 2.53Ghz Mac Mini (Late 09), 320GB 5400 RPM HDD and 4GB RAM

| No problems here either. I also think the restart (or maybe even the update) helped with an issue I was having with Mission Control and creating new desktops to work within. |
