|
|
| If I remember correctly, this issue has been discussed a long while ago (with no solution). I reckon now maybe time to ask a revisit and hopefully have a result. Here goes: all entries you type in ical are displayed in such a tiny font size that become almost invisible to most. Is there any way to change/set the font size? I checked preference for nothing. Anyone? Tks a lot. |

Didn't find such things in ical's 'View' menu. <command>+ doesn't work in ical. |

I tested mine with Lion.
I do however remember making the font size larger in SL as well. I believe it's a menu option or right click option. I can't quite remember how it is done. I might try at work later with SL and post this evening. |

| I see. Apologize that I didn't mention I am still running SL. Now if Lion makes it work on ical, I may consider to upgrade. Still nothing heard about Mail's instability with Lion being resolved yet. Anyone has a clear saying on this? Also is it possible to upgrade right from 10.6.8 to the latest Lion version (10.7.2)? Thanks |

Can't say about Lion, or a direct upgrade, but -
Sometimes CMD + doesn't work because someone was picky, and it needs to be CMD(shift)+ since the + is a shift'ed character.

SC, Interesting, but CMD(shift)+ doesn't work in my ical either! The fact is CMD+ works in almost every other app except ical. Go figure. |

I figured out what threw me for a loop.
In iCal for SL, you are able to choose three font print sizes from the print menu... small, medium and large. I don't think there is any way of changing the font size while the application is running. Sorry.
I guess this is one incentive to upgrade to Lion. That... and the ability to view a year at a glance. |

I'm not sure how useful that is though. Mine are all just shades of orange and red I really don't see how this can be useful other than for people with very few calendar appointments. _________________ Phil
