HELP with MB-Air's "Terminal" the Command Line

Hi y'all!!! I need a little help. I recently picked up
a MacBook Air. It's efin amazing. I thought it would
be a little slow piece of s**t. Boy was I WRONG. If
you've been thinking about the Air but felt they just
weren't their yet, well, they'er their.

Now to my problem. The "Library" folder in Lion is
hidden by default. I like to drill down into it on
occasion and with it hidden, thats harder to do.
So the Hack is to open the "Command Line" using
the "Terminal" located inside of your 'Utilities folder".

Well, I did that and followed the instructions and
it didn't work. I've used the Command Line many
times before and had no problems. My problem
isn't that it didn't work (because it didn't) but that
when I now open the Terminal App. it takes up
the entire screen and to kill the Terminal I "option+
command+esc and Force Quit the Terminal.

My question is "how do I get the Terminal to behave
like it always has"?

BTW, a guess isn't help. This is
the Terminal. Instead of guessing
why don't YOU try it out first then
post how well it worked.

simple don't use terminal.

I can solve your problem in 5 minutes you need 1 application IT is called Lion tweaks search lion tweaks at macupdate or even google.

This will take care of the library folder issue.

Hi macman,

I misspoke. The Library folder
did become visible. The problem
is when I launch the terminal App.
it turns the entire desktop (screen)
gray and I must use "option+comand+
escape to "Force Quit" the Terminal App.

I don't mind, I would just rather it work
as intended.

That little App LionTweaks you suggested
is pretty cool. I HATED the Scroll Bars
disappearing. Now they don't.

To view a user Library in Lion without any hacks or software.

From the users home folder
Click and hold Go on the menu bar
Press the option key

The users library folder will then appear under the Go menu

Hi BB, I was doing that but I'm an old dog.
I'm accustomed to finding it in the HD on
my desktop. Remember when the Desktop
HD disappeared in the last OS? SJ just couldn't
leave "well enough alone". Well, we don't have
him to worry about now. I'm sure that'll be a
double edged sword.

Anyway, I have my Library back, so to speak.
How do I get my Terminal Input Window back?
Back like it was.
