Apple posted this support document for connecting an Intel mini to a television set.

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2998?viewlocale=en_US

While it seems to assume that once it's connected that everything will work out fine, it does give a basic overview of the connection.

Getting a viewable signal, as some of us know, is something else!

Thats cool i can update this a little for you as well.

"samsung tv sets need a high speed hdmi cable so even if you purchase a 10.00 hdmi cable as long as it is high speed your connection to your mini will work fine i tried a 10.00 which wasn't high speed it failed awfully i fried the cable because the signal couldn't keep up with the tv not my most brightest of ideas i went and purchased a high speed ge cable that fixed everything you can get them at fred meyer in a two pack for 30.00"

As long as it's high speed it doesn't matter make or model just as long as it says high speed.

Again thanks for the post the information is very useful
