I go on certain websites and it thinks I am using internet explorer 6. Epix is one that done that for me. I notice it almost acts like a windows browser too now. This is just one of the many really weird things I have happening. Undefined text before prices on ebay listings. I never used a buggier web browser in my life.

You can change the way web sites view your browser, if certain sites are giving you trouble. Go into Safari preferences under Advanced. Click Show develop menu in menu bar. After it appears, click Develop and drop down to User Agent. You can select Safari, Safari iOS, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, etc. The default value is Automatically Chosen. Perhaps one of these other settings will work better for you. _________________ Mac Book 2.1 Ghz (Penryn) 10.6.7 4Gb DDR2

| Thanks for the tip for some reason that don't work either on that site. Maybe it's a a bogus site. I don't know. I like the develop up there though it makes it quick to turn off javascript. Not sure why this version of safari is required to use that for almost everything. I didn't run it before and barely needed it if anything it was a much better experience. It got rid of annoying ads and other things. Just made it speedier as well. |

Here is a screen shot of the "undefined" in ebay. I never seen this before.
In "my ebay" it looks like this. Not all the time just most the time.

Hard to say what that is. For the most part Safari 5.1 is working well for me. That it not to say it is without glitches. Some pages will not reload when you use a gesture to go back to that page. I look for 5.2 in the very near future. _________________ Mac Book 2.1 Ghz (Penryn) 10.6.7 4Gb DDR2
