|
|
After ordering a 24" ASUS ML248H monitor to go with my new Mini - both will be delivered later this week - my Mac guru informed me that Mac/Apple owners are having problems with ASUS monitors. As in, they simply won't work. I'm not sure where he got his info but I'd like to know ahead of time if I'm in for an incompatibly problem. I'll add that the ASUS uses a HDMI cable.
Or am I in the wrong forum asking this? I'm new.

Well, I don't think this is a networking issue...
However, I've never heard anything about Macs and Asus displays. Good or bad.

This topic not current and in the wrong category but just to post my result.
I'm using the 2011 Mac Mini Server with an ASUS VE247H over HDMI. It's not one of the fanciest displays but I got it on an awesome sale and it definitely works and looks better than my old 19" Viewsonic that I'm running over DVI -> MiniDisplay. Planning on picking up another of the ASUS in the future that is the same design for dual 24" displays. _________________ 2011 Mini Server (5,3)- 2.0Ghz i7 Quad-core; 8GB RAM; 2x750GB 7200rpm |
