I'm trying to locate the SATA cable and mounting hardware to install a second internal drive in my new Mini. The only thing I could find is a drive out of a Server model on Ebay.

I don't need the hard drive. Does anyone know where to get just the parts? |

I've been able to order the Apple service part here:

I haven't received the part yet, but swapped the 500 GB drive for an SSD last night. Drive replacement is so easy it hurts, lol... |

| Part received last week and installed second drive over the weekend. Very straightforward install using iFixit as a guide. Having completed the install I would recommend iFixit's kit. The part from Apple is about US $40 and the iFixit kit has the grommets and screws you need for quiet mounting (mounted without it, I don't hear anything, but just in case...) and costs US$70. |
