|

I bought my HTPC mini right around the time Snow Leopard came out. Luckily I got one off the shelf that still had Leopard on it and after reading about all the remote issues -- and being a lazy SOB not wanting to deal with it -- I never bothered to upgrade.
I'm running Plex 9 with a Harmony remote. Anybody had an issues after upgrading to Lion?
Thx. |

I don't use any fancy remotes, but I did have an issue with my NAS. Apple have changed something in Lion which meant when I tried to mount the media drive I just got a message saying it was no longer supported
Thankfully I found a beta firmware for my Nas drive which fixed the problem but if you have a NAS it might be worth checking if yours plays nicely with Lion. _________________ Phil

Cypher,
The issue is that Lion dropped support for AFP servers which use the DHCAST128 authentication method. Some NAS manufacturers have started fixing this with firmware updates, but in the mean time, you can actually re-enable DHCAST128 in Lion.
You can follow the steps in my blog to get it working - http://www.kristijan.org/2011/07/mac-osx-lion-afp-shares/
