Apple has released the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Supplemental Update via their Software Update Utility and website for direct download. According to the company, this update is recommended for all users running Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and resolves issues with:
- Transferring personal data, settings, and compatible applications from a Mac running Mac OS X Snow Leopard to a new Mac running Mac OS X Lion.
- Certain network printers that pause print jobs immediately and fail to complete.
- System audio that stops working when using HDMI or optical audio out.
The Mac OS X 10.6.8 Supplemental Update weighs in at 10.19MB and requires Mac OS X 10.6.8.
Apple also released the Mac OS X 10.6.8 v1.1 Update (Combo) for users that haven't already upgraded to Mac OS X 10.6.8.

| Ruh roh! Wonder if any of this affects Lion, cause that 10.7.1 update can't come out quick enough for me. Got the video freezing big time. |

| Bought but haven't upgraded to Lion, so I'm definitely going to install this one based on the first issue. |

| there not releasing 10.7.1 but skipping to 10.7.2 at least that is the latest rumor because 10.7.2 was just released to developers not 10.7.1 |

10.7.1 is probably more of an internal release and about ready to hit SU. I don't think they will skip over it. Although, that might be smart from a marketing standpoint. |
