quick adapter question. for 2009 mini vga.

OKay I have a 2009 mini a 2.66. It was my ht unit. I want to move it into my bedroom and hook it up to a sharp hdtv. the sharp has a vga jack for pc's. I know that I have to use that vga on the sharp.

Question is mini dvi to vga or mini display to vga. TIA phil

I have hdmi to mini dvi and hdmi to mini display but dont work with this tv.

DVI output using Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter (included)
VGA output using Mini-DVI to VGA Adapter (sold separately)
Mini DisplayPort output

It looks like you could go either way

I'd go mini display port to VGA personally. The cable may come in handy down the road on other machines/projectors.

yeah I am going to order the cable mini display port to vga. the main reason for this is netflix and eye tv recording. Tv is too far for decent surfing but would be good for recordings and netflix

got the cable from monoprice the sharp tv is working well minidisplay to vga.
