Anyone heard much on this? All I've seen points to September (one said September 13 exactly), wondering if anyone has heard different lately.

September points to the iPhone being lumped in with iPod updates which makes sense.

Yeah, currently there's no evidence of them starting manufacture which has to be done a month or two in advance for a release, though iPhone 4 manufacture has been scaled back, retooling? That coupled with the late iOS announcement that they like to do 99 days before the next iPhone release (79 days before the next iPhone's official announcement) has lead to some professionals siding with the September release.

I'm not desperate for a new phone as I have a works mobile and I'm going to wait for the new one, so the sooner they release the sooner I will look to buy.
My works phone though is a pile of cr*p. They had promised me a new HTC smart phone but fobbed me off with some old piece of junk whilst they sorted it out. I think christmas might come before my new phone the speed they are progressing at.
Either way I've decided I'm going to treat myself to an iPhone 5. I'm not really interested in having a windows based mobile, so the HTC will only be a stop gap although with the antenna issues of iPhone 4, I'm very reluctant to buy one at release. It's more than likely I'll wait until christmas if it's a September release.
