Wouldn't it be nice if there was a neat, compact and efficient, Universal Power Supply, with a neat desktop "Power Hub" with "Universal Standard" sockets, supplying "Universal Standard" voltages, for example 3V, 6V, 9V, 12V, (preferably less) and all the low voltage "Peripherals" that you buy, e.g. Router, Modem, Printer, USB hub, External HDD External DVD, all came with the correct plug for the appropriate "Standard" voltage, on reasonably short cords to reach the "Power Hub".
No more power wasting individual inefficient heat producing power packs hanging from multiple power boards and double adapters, creating a jungle of tangled cords that defy tracing when required, and seem to be impossible to arrange in any meaningful way.
Oh well, one can dream............ _________________ M1. 2009 Mac Mini - 2.26GHz C2D - 8GB OWC RAM - 120GB Mercury Extreme SSD - Shintaro Dock.
