New Mac Minis

I am curious how fellow Mac users are liking the new Mac Minis?

I have an older Macmini1,1 and am thinking about getting a new one in the near future.

Since I work in education IT in New Mexico, I want to make sure others are content with their systems.

I had a 2010 I sold it. I now have a 2009. Both have the 2.66GHz c2d cpu. I like the looks of the 2010. But it is not faster then the 2009. I am hoping that the 2011 will have a big upgrade this summer or early fall. I want the 2011 to have the same specs as the new 13 inch macbook pro. So I wait. The 2010 was a change for looks more then performance.

I have both a 2009 and 2010. I don't have any complaints on either of them. If you want HDMI then the 2010 is the one.

D-I-Y upgrading is much easier on the 2009 model.

On the other hand there is not much to upgrade in the 2010 Mini apart from the RAM (easier than 2009) and HDD (OK, a bit tough).
The king of upgrades would be the 1,1 anyway. I have one, 2.33GHz C2D, 2GB, 320 GB 7200 rpm HDD, internal 802.11n... That's what upgrading used to be Wink

My 2010 is AOK however. And for the speed bumps - I don't need one, if I want more CPU I walk to the opposite desk to the Mac Pro.

Thanks! I just want to make sure that I am investing my money in a good piece of hardware since it is so hard to come by.

Thanks! I don't have that option. Mini is pretty much it.
