I am curious how fellow Mac users are liking the new Mac Minis?
I have an older Macmini1,1 and am thinking about getting a new one in the near future.
Since I work in education IT in New Mexico, I want to make sure others are content with their systems. |

I had a 2010 I sold it. I now have a 2009. Both have the 2.66GHz c2d cpu. I like the looks of the 2010. But it is not faster then the 2009. I am hoping that the 2011 will have a big upgrade this summer or early fall. I want the 2011 to have the same specs as the new 13 inch macbook pro. So I wait. The 2010 was a change for looks more then performance. _________________ 2010 Mm 2.4 C2D oem 320gb hdd 8gb ram

| I have both a 2009 and 2010. I don't have any complaints on either of them. If you want HDMI then the 2010 is the one. |

(Alert: I don' t have a 2010 model, but I understand:)
D-I-Y upgrading is much easier on the 2009 model. _________________ Martin at HeadSpin HD now on Blu-ray |

On the other hand there is not much to upgrade in the 2010 Mini apart from the RAM (easier than 2009) and HDD (OK, a bit tough).
The king of upgrades would be the 1,1 anyway. I have one, 2.33GHz C2D, 2GB, 320 GB 7200 rpm HDD, internal 802.11n... That's what upgrading used to be
My 2010 is AOK however. And for the speed bumps - I don't need one, if I want more CPU I walk to the opposite desk to the Mac Pro. _________________ Wojtek |

Thanks! I just want to make sure that I am investing my money in a good piece of hardware since it is so hard to come by. |

Thanks! I don't have that option. Mini is pretty much it. |
