I'm in the USA and I know I pay way to much
for terrible Internet Service. Here's a comparison
buy country. Cost per mbps and how they rank.
OMG check out Japan and Korea and Canada is double
USA's speed BUT double the price. That doesn't seem
like a bargain.

I'm on a 20Mbps line in the UK - £25 (about $40) (but we have to pay for a land line telephone extra £13 a month)
I have a choice of three speeds from my cable Internet provider "Virgin Media" in the UK 10Mbps / 20Mbps / 50Mbps
I've just looked on their Web site for prices of the other speeds and I'm not surprised to find they have upped the speeds again which explains why I've been having loads of trouble recently with less than 1Mbps having been the norm during peak periods.
The new listing is now
10Mbps - £13.50 / month ($22)
30Mbps - £18.50 /month ($30)
50Mbps - £25.00 / month ($40)
but also have to pay for the land line telephone service
It really annoys me why they keep changing things and more so that they don't keep us existing customers up to date. _________________ Phil

I pay 50 USD a month for optimum online = cablevision.
I get ;
15Mb/s download
2Mb/s upload
This is the only choice I have. That offers any type of speed at all.
Not able to get Fios in my area.
I could pay 15 USD more and my internet will be boosted to 25Mb/s down and 5 Mb/s up.
Maybe I could check satellite out. Way too slow.
I just went to optimum online site . for internet only prices are.
50 usd for 15 down 2 up I use this.
65 usd for 30 down 5 up
105 usd for 101 down and 15 up .
I posted about the boosted service some one on this site that lives close to me is using it says he gets about 23 to 25 Mb/s down and 3 or 4 Mb/s up. Maybe I will upgrade to it. _________________ 2010 Mm 2.4 C2D oem 320gb hdd 8gb ram
