Apple Releases iTunes 10.2 Update

Apple has released the iTunes 10.2 update for Mac and Windows via their Software Update utility and website for direct download. According to the company, this update adds support for the newly announced iOS 4.3 update. It also improves on Home Sharing for the iOS 4.3 update and overall security. The iTunes 10.2 update weighs in at 75.61 MB and requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later.

Every since this update, my jazz.pls file that wakes me up in the mornings has been opening with QuickTime instead of iTunes. I had to go to the actual file and right click on it and say "open with iTunes" and check the box to always use this application. Strange that it broke the file associations. Oh well, at least I now know that Quick Time plays streaming internet audio even though I still prefer iTunes.
