Where to find a free, mac keylogger download?
I've been suspecting lately that my kids are looking at some "illegal" sites online. i installed a netnanny-type blocker on the computer, but i think they may be finding loopholes. I'd like to install a keylogger to see what's going on, but i dont want to pay much money. please, I will appreciate it if you can think of any free mac keylogger.

There's a video showing all of OS X's parental control features on this page: http://www.apple.com/macosx/security/

Scroll down to the section called "Exercise parental control".

As far as I'm concerned, free software is always not completely functional. I know much about this parental control as my auntie has been using it for six months, and she thinks highly of it. It seems that it offers a free trial. You can have a try.
Hope it will be helpful for you.

Probably the easiest and potentially most powerful is to use OpenDNS. By setting this up and having your router (or computers) set to utilize this rather than your ISP's DNS, you can then select what to filter by category. One of the many benefits of this service is that it is also FREE.

A long time since my last visit. Thx ez061111, OpenDNS works fine as well as free except for that it can not help me to see what is going on in my kids' Mac leopard.

Btw, it surprised me that the last several digits 061111 of your name ez061111 is the last part of my passwords of one of my accounts, exactly the same.

Is this a coincidence or what?

Sorry I can't tell you what is the other part of my passwords. Wink

Smile purely coincidence. I'd suggest changing it now, people are pretty good with data-mining nowadays and now they potentially know a portion of it.

Glad OpenDNS has helped. Sorry, I still don't have any help with a keylogger. You can get Apple Remote Desktop Server and set it up to monitor real time without your children's knowledge I suppose. It would take some set-up time and locking down some system preferences. I don't necessarily suggest it, but you would understand your home situation better than anybody else.
