Does Apple Still Support Leopard?

I know that Snow Leopard has been out for a long time and Lion is coming out this year. Right now I'm using OS X 10.5.8.

Last night I was on www.fancast.com watching a TV show and when a commercial popped up the Safari browser crashed. As usual the optional report to Apple box opened and I typed what caused the problem into the comments box. When I clicked send I got the message that the report attempt failed and that I should try again later. I didn't close the box. I minimized it and have tried sending the report many times. It still gives the same message that I should try sending it later.

Has Apple stopped supporting 10.5.8 as far as accepting problem reports?

This is my first Apple computer so I have no experience with Tiger or Panther. How long will Apple accept reports for browser problems after they have switched to a newer version of their operating systems? The browser I have is the latest version available on Leopard.

I think Apple is required by law to support any product for five years after it is discontinued.

As for support for Leopard, I believe they are still releasing security updates for it.

As for crashes in Safari, and Safari's crash reporting. I don't know. Or maybe the server that handles Safari bug reports is down.

Off hand, I wouldn't worry.

This afternoon I clicked the send report button and it went through. I wonder what was wrong. Shame on Apple servers for not being perfect.
