iPhone 4 Coming to Verizon
Tuesday, January 11, 2011
Posted by: Kenan
Verizon Wireless and Apple today announced that the iPhone 4 will be available on the Verizon Wireless network beginning on Thursday, February 10. According to the companies, qualified Verizon Wireless customers will be given the exclusive opportunity to pre-order iPhone 4 online on February 3, ahead of general availability. They've also posted a FAQ here to answer more of your questions.
"Verizon Wireless customers have told us they can't wait to get their hands on iPhone 4, and we think they are going to love it," said Tim Cook, Apple's chief operating officer. "We have enormous respect for the company Verizon has built and the loyalty they have earned from their customers."
iPhone 4 will be available on the Verizon Wireless network beginning Thursday, February 10 for a suggested retail price of $199.99 for the 16GB model and $299.99 for the 32GB model with a new two year customer agreement.

| I think I'm going to be one of those people that leave AT&T for Verizon. I'm just tired of the failed calls in my area. Plus, I'm on Edge 50% of the time. I also wouldn't mind having the newer phone. |

This is great news, but I'm going to stick it out with AT&T for now. I wonder what this will do for the success of Android phones on Verizon though? I beat the sales of those phones start taking a major dive. It's sort of hard to beat the Apple juggernaut these days. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

| I'm waiting on the iPhone 5 to make a decision. I think Verizon has the better network, but I do like having the ability to talk and use the web at the same time. The next iPhone could also be 4G on their network. |
