I am in the market for a mac mini for a media center. i currently am using a old imac ppc with 1gb ram which is not getting the job done. too much chop and refresh issues.
i dont want to drop 600 on new mac mini but want to get one that will get the job done with movies and streaming content without chop. what used mac mini will get the job done? ram, vid, proc, etc..
i see a lot of used mini's out there, so i want to be sure i dont run into the same issue.
thanks,

It should. I am assuming you are going the used route. If you shop around, you may be able to find one where the previous owner maxed out the memory. If not, DDR2 memory is very cheap right now. _________________ Mac Book 2.1 Ghz (Penryn) 10.6.7 4Gb DDR2
