Apple Releases Updated AirPort Utility and Firmware

Apple has released the AirPort Utility 5.5.2 Update for Mac and Windows. According to the company, this update contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:
- Resolves an issue that caused the DHCP settings tab to display incorrectly
- Resolves an issue that caused the application to quit unexpectedly when automatically launched
- Resolves an issue that prevented the network password from being stored in the Keychain when the network on the 5GHz band was named differently
The AirPort Utility 5.5.2 Update for Mac weighs in at 10.29 MB and requires Mac OS X 10.5.7 or later.
Apple also released the AirPort Base Station and Time Capsule Firmware Update 7.5.2. According to the company, some of the fixes for this update include the following:
- General fixes to Wi-Fi base station stability
- Fixes some issues with AirPlay streaming
- General fixes with USB interoperability including connection to external storage devices
- Fixes some issues with NAT port mapping settings
- Disables TKIP security with 802.11n rates per the Wi-Fi Alliance specifications
This update also requires Mac OS X 10.5.7 or later.

| I repaired my disk permissions for another reason after updating to the latest AirPort Utility and it went bonkers. I literally have a list of 2500 or more repairs the revolve around the utility itself. Anyone else? |

no I just have the usual one which never really get repaired... _________________ Mac Mini i5 2.5 GHZ, 16GB Ram.
