TWIT is a waste of time. I listen to it, but I have lots of time to waste, as I drive up to 6000 miles per month.
Too often too many people are talking at the same time. It gets annoying.
I listen to Daily Source Code, MacCast, Macworld, Mac Tips Daily.
I just subscribe to a Slashdot daily review.
Are there any other good technology podcasts you folks recommend. (Why do you recommend it?) |

That is one of the main reasons I stopped listening. I also hate John C. Dvorak. I personally don't think he really knows that much about technology. He's just one of those name-dropping know it all types. |

Same here. I was a TWiT devotee when it first came out but it's just too annoying now. The show needs some structure and it would be great again.

I listened to the Show; Woz didn't delve too deeply into his thoughts about the goings on at Apple. He told some pretty entertaining stories, though -- mostly concerning his Segway Personal Transporter. I also join you guys in thinking that TwiT has missed its mark. It's at the bottom of my list of good tech podcasts. Dvorak gets on my nerves; however, I'm still a pretty big fan of Leo Laporte (as annoying as he can be at times.) I grew up watching the ZDtv, TechTV guys (Kevin, Leo, Patrick, etc.).

Ah ZDTV...I started watching TSS when Kate Botello was the cohost and I NEVER missed an episode. Of course Tivo made that easy, but anyway...
I so miss the chemistry of the early TSS. Kate was pretty clueless as far as tech goes but she and Leo worked so well together, it was fantastic. Oh well...I long for the good ole' days a bit too much I guess. Heck I still miss my Amiga 500

| I finally had a chance to listen to the show That was one of the best episodes. It would be cool if Woz could join them every week. The show would probably be better if they just kept it to three hosts and one guest. Leo, John C, Steve Gibson and guest. Keep all those younger TechTV brats off there. |
