Audio Stuttering Problem with 15" PowerBooks

I have been traversing the Apple Discussion forums for a couple of days looking for an answer to mildly annoying problem.

On my 15" Powerbook (bought a week ago.) While I'm listening to iTunes (or any other audio program) I get some very weird sounding "Audio Stuttering" Basically what happens is the playback stops and begins repeating over and over untill it 'catches up' with itself and stops.

Someone over at the apple forums was lucky enough to get an audio capture of the problem (amazingly enough, since it's such a random occurance.)

Does anyone here at 123MacMini have this problem with either their mini or their PB?

NOTE: I have changed a few settings with my "line in" audio options, and the problem doesn't occur near as much, but at very sporadic, random times. At least once or twice a day.
