ok let me explain my issue.
I am currently unemployed and cannot afford much due to the fact that bussinesses where i live at would rather hire there own kind then american workers.
Anyways i purchased a imac g5 the system specs are as follows.
Imac g5 1.8 ghz
2 gig's ram
1 tb hard drive
mac os x leopard
However i have a small issue i purchased this machine for 60.00 as a repairable machine why you ask the power supply is dead as is common with this model i checked the main board no damaged capaciters and i was wondering where to find a affordable power supply replacment i dont have a lot of money and i dont want to fork out apples 500.00 price tag for a power cell replacment does anyone know where i can get a powercell from cheap |

| anything cheaper 139.99 is rediculious for a power supply when a ibm power supply is only 28.00 to 80.00 |

I don't know, maybe on eBay. The difference between a PC power supply and a Mac power supply (iMac particularly) is that PCs use generic standard power supplies whereas a Mac uses a proprietary (custom) power supply.
