Hello
My first time on this section of the forum. I usually am hanging out on the upgrades and alternate operating systems areas.
I have a Hitachi 7200/320 GB drive with SL and W7 on it, that I just pulled out of the mini. Out of curiousity I put it in my Eee PC 1000HD and was stunned that it immediately fired up in W7. In Disc Management I could see the split partition with W-7 on one end and SL on the other.
-So what can I do with this present arrangement, if anything?
1) Is there a way running duo OS in this little eeepc 1000HD notebook?
2) If so, do I start from scratch, or can I use anything that's already on this drive.
3) If not I would turn it into another Mac (If I did that I venture that I could not use the Bootcamp feature and reinstall W7 or XP, that way.
I was surprised how well W7 ran on this little machine.
I am a bit new at this particular project so forgive my lack of knowledge. I have a good handle I think on doing things with the mini, but this is a whole new can of worms.
I appreciate any insight, comments or guidance. Thanks _________________ '08 MacMini C2D/2.0/RAM4GB

You will need a few things:
A build of one of these JaS, Kalyway, iATKOS, or iDeneb
Possibly these apps:
Kext Helper
OSx86 Tools
Pacifist
Universal OSX86 Installer
Lots of time.....
And many visits to these sites:
http://www.hackint0sh.org/
http://OSx86.co/
http://www.insanelymac.com/
http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL
Possibly you will have to install numerous kext to get sound and wifi working.
I have a Dell mini 10" and a 10" Acer running 10.6.x . The Acer took two weeks to get going.
Hope this helps you with a starting point.
