I don't know about Half Life 2 or Doom 3, but Halo works on the Mini just fine. _________________ The direct use of force is such a poor solution to any problem, it is generally employed only by small children and large nations.

Halo will run great on a Mini, mine is 1.4GHz/1GB/32MB and I play it almost everyday (hit me up on email or PM, we have a dedicated Halo server at my office). Doom 3 on the other hand is not so good, it's too choppy to be playable, even at the lowest settings. Halo has a better balance of multiplayer FPS elements than Doom 3, anyway.
As for HalLife 2, there's no Mac version, as even if there was, you'd need a G5 tower to play it well. |

I downloaded the demo for doom 3 a couple days ago and it runs semi-decent on my 1.5 ghz mac mini. It does indeed have some lag but it is not impossible to play. |
