If you turn it off, does it sync back up on its own? |
I leave mine on. If you turn it off it does not re-sync on it's on. You have to click the Bluetooth icon, drop down to mouse and sync. I am using mine on a MacBook, however. Takes just a second, though. _________________ Mac Book 2.1 Ghz (Penryn) 10.6.7 4Gb DDR2

I keep mine turned off as I don't know if I am going to be using my macbook at my desk or on the couch. It connects automatically when I do turn it on to use it. |

I love my magic mouse, but I have to admit it will not re-sync itself without my help.
I have to use a usb mouse and click on "Connect" in the BT drop-down menu. |

I tried doing both. It seems it does not save batteries by turning it off. _________________ iMac 27" 3.06 8GB ATI 4670 1TB HD

I finally broke bad can cracked open my old might mouse. I figured if I destroyed it no great loss.
It's working like it should now.
I don't like the fact that I have to either leave it off or glue the plastic ring back on it.
Oh well. that's not such a bad price to have my mighty mouse working again. |
