Nope. The nearest Indian restaurant (and it's a pretty good one, I think although my experience with such food's limited) is about 60 miles from here.
Samosas are definitely a must.
I was considering the purchase of an insulated tiffin lunch box (dabba) for school and it got me thinking about Indian food.
Most of my experiences with curry/roti have been in a West Indian restaurant that was in business here for a couple of years. |

If you like Indian Vegetarian, I suggest you give Ethiopian food a chance. Lots of vegetarian foods to choose from and the injera bread is excellent.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Injera
You don't get utensils. The meal is eaten with the injera bread. Not only is it a tasty meal, it is a true bonding experience with the persons you are eating with as you all share the same meal.
I know this all seems foreign to us and the looks are a little unusual. That's the point. It will be an experience you won't forget. You won't leave hungry because the bread is very filling and unlimited (they will bring you more, if they see you need more).
edit: I had to make that photo smaller, it is a little difficult to look at

Bandit...
That picture looks like what my dog barfed up after rooting in the neighbors garbage all night, except maybe for the greens. _________________ DropBox, free cloud storage for all, check it out Here |

Not much different looking than most Indian dishes, but I hear you.
Most of the dishes look this way due to economics. You make a big pot of something and the majority of the meal is bread. With Indian food it's naan bread, with Ethiopian it's injera bread. |

60 miles to an Indian restaurant! Jeez man, I'd have to move house!
It takes me less than 5 minutes to walk to my local general store. And on the way, I pass an Indian restaurant... _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

I live in a city that has TONs of Indian, Afghan, Pakistani restaurants (and citizens). Lots of choices, lots of different interpretations. It's great.
I can't find a good pizza place to save my life though. |

60 miles
In the UK every other shop these days is a takeaway / restaurant. There's at least one or two Indian's on most main roads near me
Your knackered over here if you want something useful but feeding isn't going to be a problem. _________________ Phil

Pontificator, I bought some vegetable samosas from the supermarket today -- couldn't help remembering you as I put them into my basket...

Why the sad face, Cypher? Not a fan of Indian food?
When I was at Manchester University, I could walk during lunch time from the uni to Rusholme (big Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi community) and eat some of the best Indian food you could find in the entire country. Oh, yeah.... _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

The famous curry mile. You wouldn't believe your eyes Pontificator. Almost every shop front is a curry house.
I'm actually not too far from there Johnny, I'm only on the other side of Manchester.
BTW The sad face is because our local towns have become a complete eye sore, especially during the day when they are all shuttered up. Every shop become a food outlet means the towns are dying, which is forcing people to travel to the big outlets such as the Trafford Centre which is just helping to kill off the remaining town centre shops. _________________ Phil

not a vegetarian, but they have great vegetarian dishes like Chana Saag and Vegetable Biryani. Huntington has quite a few great restaurants. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram
