I have a second internal hdd (replaced optical drive) that I want to run Win7. Through bootcamp a reboot is necessary; can I run windows through VMWare Fusion from my boot drive (but Win7 loaded on the second drive)? Does this even make any sense? Basically I want to run windows on my 2nd internal without having to reboot into that drive, if possible.
Giving myself a headache, thanks for any help.

| I'm not sure about VMWare Fusion, but Parallels allows me to boot into windows on a separate drive, and still be able to access that windows from OSX via Parallels. I would imagine VMWare can do what you want. But I would check their forums if no one here knows for sure. |

Yes, this is possible with VM Fusion. Boot drive VM, Win7 image can exist on a external, or in your case 2nd internal. _________________ MacMini 2.0GHz C2D (2009)
