Does anyone know a way to recover a deleted mailbox with messages from Mail? I did Time Machine backup 2 weeks ago and this morning I accidentally deleted a whole Mailbox instead of the messages in Trash! Restore from TM would not be the ideal in my situation. Please help.

The mailboxes should be stored in folders on your HDD, so you should be able to find the missing mailboxes folder in your Time Machine backup and restore it.

If it doesn't show up in Mail directly then you should be able to use the Import option (File - Import Mailboxes) and point it to the folder

Thanks, Tony. Yes, I did but couldn't find my deleted mailbox. Do you mean look in TM backup? I haven't check TM yet because it's 2 weeks old. Any idea?

if its not in the trash (in mail or dock) then the TM might be your only option.

I'm not sure but it may also be worth checking if your mail provider may be able to restore the files their end.

Thanks, Cypher. Yeah, I think TM is my only option and I did recover the Mailbox from TM restore. The restored mailbox contains only the messages dated 7-25 and prior. I know I still have all those later messages stored in my mail server. I can login to my server account online and scan/read my messages there, but don't know how to send those mails to my client. Any idea?
