|
|
The grandkids was over the weekend playing with the G4 iMac with Tiger installed. Some how they have turned on the speech/voice control. It will speak when I open programs, minimize//maximize or click apps in finder.
How they heck do I turn this off? I didn't know it had this capability. I looked in the speech application in Finder, System Preferences, to turn it off but it was already off.
It's getting on my nerves.
Thnx. _________________ G4 Mac Mini | 1.25ghz | 1gb | 40gb | OS X 10.4.11 | 37" Westinghouse HDTV

Yes, conflicting statements. I noticed it two weeks ago but the past weekend is when I noticed it again. I thought I had it off the previous two weeks ago. I hardly use the iMac. It would only speak when using firefox or typing text in yahoo messenger, that I noticed the speech. If that make sense! _________________ G4 Mac Mini | 1.25ghz | 1gb | 40gb | OS X 10.4.11 | 37" Westinghouse HDTV
