Actually, if it's canned or bottled, I prefer Pepsi. However, if it is a fountain drink from fast food or something, I prefer Coke. Coke canned and bottled taste nothing like fountain Coke. Fountain Pepsi is usually a little bland compared to the bottled/canned stuff.

Fountain always has that great carbonation mix, canned or bottled they over carbonate it so it'll last longer.

Coke is better ,but sugar sweetened coke is better then corn syrup sweetened coke. The corn syrup leaves after taste the cane sugar does not.

My mother worked for the Coca Cola Bottling Company for almost 30 years. She ran their accounting division.
I would go pick her up on occasion, after work. When I did that, I would buy several cases of 6.5 oz. or 10 oz bottles of Coke. They only cost 5ยข a bottle. For 30 years I never paid more than that for a Coke. Philip, your right about the sugar. I still drink Coke but don't enjoy it like I use to. I think in Central and South America they still use sugar. Its cheaper, slave labor!

Coke bought Barq's Root Beer some years ago
back when Coke and Pepsi were buying all of
their competitors. Barq's Root Beer is actually
made from sarsaparilla root. When we were
teenagers we would go to the Soda Fountain
and order a "Purple Cow". That was a tall glass
of Barq's Root Beer with a scoop of vanilla
ice cream. The Vanilla colored scoop of ice
cream looked purple through the glass, hence
the name. Coke now makes a Barq's Root Beer
drink with Vanilla flavor added. Its extraordinary.
I buy a few on occasion to treat myself.
They usually come in a four pack and cost
$4.00. If you see it in the grocery store do
yourself a favor and try it
.
