Permissions

Trying to put I Spy on a Mac Mini that I set up as a spare work terminal/kids computer at work. I have no problem running I Spy on the primary log in, but I made a log in for the kids to keep them out of the area and I am unable to run I Spy. The message pops up that I don't have permission to open the application ...

I have tried going to Finder and Preferences, but can't find a way to allow it to work. Having my kids over this weekend and I am working Saturday morning. Would appreciate any comments

This may work.
Right click your App.
Choose "Get Info"
In the Pane that appears
go all the way to the bottom
right corner and left click the
lock. Whenever your password
is asked for, give it. Then in the
Privileges Box, at the bottom
click on the up or down arrows
and select "Read & Write" for
all of your choices.

Then try setting up your App.
again. If it works, when your
finished go back to
the "Get info" Pane and change
your Permissions back.

Whenever I can't do something
its because I don't have permission
(Mac OS X is built on Unix) so I
simply give myself Permission.

I suspect it'll work.

It just dawned on me.
iSpy is several years old.....right?
It simply may not work
under Snow Leopard.
