I've got an extra PowerBook G4 sitting around and I'd though I'd put it to use. I wanted to turn it into a server for my whole network. How can I configure it so my other computers will log into it whenever they are turned on? Is there any way I can do this without having to buy Leopard Server or whatnot?

Thanks!

Thanks for finding that.

So will my other Macs automatically connect to this shared folder every time they're turned on?

Well, you could either create an alias icon on the desktop of the other Macs that links to the shared folder on your laptop server, or, once you can see the Powerbook's shared folder in the other Mac's "Finder", you could drag that icon to the sidebar of Finder. I imagine that after doing this, it will always appear in Finder's sidebar, together with "Macintosh HD", "iDisk", "Desktop", etc....
