On Linux and Windows I use Pidgin for various IM services, however Pidgin isn't available for OS X so I was wondering what everyone here uses for IM clients? _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

| iChat has a few built into it. Otherwise, I just use the appropriate program. |

The only issue is I then don't have yahoo, then again I think I have one person one my buddies list that is ever on anymore, my mom, anyone else switched to MSN so I can give that up, but what to do about my IRC needs as MSN is covered by Live Messenger. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

A buddy of mine swears by Adium. I'm simple and only use iChat, but I think if you have different needs Adium looks to deal with many different formats.

For IM you could try Trillian and or Adium as suggested. I just use yahoo messenger to IM with OS X. You can also use it from the web email service.
If you use Firefox, you can addon the Chatzilla IRC client, it is what I use with all 3 OSes. I'm not sure if you can connect to an IM service. There's also x-chat aqua for mac. I never tried it. _________________ G4 Mac Mini | 1.25ghz | 1gb | 40gb | OS X 10.4.11 | 37" Westinghouse HDTV

I installed X-Chat Aqua earlier today and it works fine, I think I'll try Adium out though. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."
