Does anyone know of a good method to move my entire library from my PC to my MacBook Pro (should arrive today, hopefully earlier in the day though). I have an iPhone that can hold all my iTunes content and an external HDD that I can transfer the library to (actually two, but the other one is going to be for Time Machine), also if at all possible, is there a way to do it so my purchased list is retained (if not no biggy) _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

On a Mac, the iTunes music library is found in User/Music/iTunes Music, so if you can...- copy your PC's music library to that location
- start iTunes
- click "Add to Library..." under the "File" menu
- select the iTunes Music folder that you've just created (either on your internal or external HDD) and click the "Open" button
...then iTunes should find all of your music and automatically import it!
(Just to clarify that last bullet point, I have a Music/iTunes Music folder on my internal HDD that OS X created when it was installed. But my iTunes library is in a Music/iTunes Music folder that I created on my external HDD, and I've told iTunes to only use that folder for playing/adding music tracks by specifying it in the "Advanced" tab of iTunes' preferences pane) _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

If it's on an external drive will it automatically import it to the internal drive?
Update on shipping, it was scanned onto a truck as of 7:40 and 7:41 (there's two packages, one for the MBP and iPS and the other is my MBP Applecare) _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

Open iTunes Preferences:Advanced. You can set the location of the library. Do so before importing. _________________ Mac Book 2.1 Ghz (Penryn) 10.6.7 4Gb DDR2

Yes, iTunes will put your files where you tell it to. Or it should...
