Apple today announced that it will kick off its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a keynote address by CEO Steve Jobs on Monday, June 7th at 10:00 a.m. The five-day event running from June 7th to June 11th, is focused on providing advanced content for skilled developers across five key technology tracks: Application Frameworks; Internet & Web; Graphics & Media; Developer Tools; and Core OS. Apple engineers will deliver over 100 solutions-oriented technical sessions and labs. The company also noted that this year's event sold out in a record eight days to over 5,000 developers.

| Nice to see WWDC is going stronger than ever. Perhaps WWDC will continue to grow as Macworld declines. Glad to see Steve Jobs is presenting. |

| I might be in for a new iPhone if there is a remarkable improvement in battery life. Otherwise, I'm just hoping for an updated Mac mini with the updated Mini DisplayPort spec. |

This is a software developers conference. Maybe they will announce hardware, but it's doubtful. Steve will probably just talk about all the opportunities the developers have with the iPad. |

You're probably right about hardware. I do think a new iPhone is a given at this point though. Either way, it should be fun to see what Apple has up their sleeves. I totally get excited by these events now. |

| There have been new products in the past like new PowerMacs, iSights and Cinema Displays, but I think this year will be all about iPhone OS 4.0 update and a new iPhone. I'm sure they will be pushing development for the iPad as well. That's about what I expect anyways. |
