|
|
| Hi, This is a small issue I need help for iCal. Does anyone know how to enlarge the font size for the "To do" items (a list of items you can setup on right side of iCal)? They are way too tiny for my aging eyes. Thanks in advance. |

I wouldn't say that is an effective or practical Work around, fcigar. Using that way would be just like (or even worse than) wearing a pair of zooming glasses every time you want working with iCal. But sadly I do confirm that Apple co. does not and never consider this type of complaints as a "problem" or their weakness in software capability. How will I have a happy easter if I can't see (read) it on my iCal! |

Doesn't look like it can be done, but it seems like a reasonable request. A quick Google search shows you are not alone.
Here is a link if you want to suggest the change to Apple.

Have a look at the app BusyCal
their tag line is "Think of it as iCal Pro"
It adds a lot of extra features to the standard iCal app and really shows what iCal should have been.
Its a paid for application though $49 (I have a discount code you could use which gives %20 off)
Here's an example with the font size set to Lucida Grande 18, you can set it to any font / font size you like.
(unfortunately it also sets the font for the calendar to the same size which I'd prefer to be set separately but it may suit you)
also note the info panel under the TODO list, this panel shows all the time, you can turn it off. What ever entry is clicked in the calendar or in the to do list is shown in full in the info panel and is another useful addition over iCal.
You can run the trial version for 30 days I think and it uses the same data as iCal so you can run both without any problems or loss of data between the two. _________________ Phil

Thanks for recommending the 'costing' solution/alternative. Would take it if freeware. |
