Elgato Releases EyeTV 3.3.3
Saturday, March 27, 2010
Posted by: Kenan
Elgato has announced the release of EyeTV 3.3.3, a minor update that is being released to address issues with version 3.3.2 of the software that was released late last week. This includes fixing bad decoding/playback of channels which use frame/field switching (say hello France!) and occasional crashing within the AAC decoder. The EyeTV 3.3.3 update weighs in at 112MB and requires Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later. You can download it here or with the "Check for Updates" feature inside the software.

| Mine are actually choppy running Snow Leopard on an '09 Mac mini. This only happens at full screen though. |

My menus are still bad with Snow Leopard. This update doesn't seem to have helped on that front. Maybe it's time for a clean install though. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

No menu problems here but for the first time I'm able to watch smooth ClearQAM without drop-outs. The last version caused the video to pause and jerk about every 20 seconds or so on either of my Macs. It didn't effect recording, only playback. Now it's pretty much television smooth. _________________ Mini 2.66GHz 4GB RAM 640GB WD HDD |
