That's very true. I have the same Yamaha receiver, Yamaha CD player, and Polk Audio speakers that I had back in college. I don't even feel inclined to buy anything else for just listening to music.

Still have the same speakers, those Infinity's. But I got a new receiver a while ago. A Denon AVR-2309CI. Yeah I'm kind of partial to Denon. Been using all different types of electronics from them for quite a while.

Would of been happy with the older receiver, the 2307, but I wanted HDMI inputs on it. That way I could use DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD.

Denon makes nice stuff. I got a new 52" Sony XBR with a HT system towards the end of last year. It's been really nice.
