I'm pretty new to things Mac, so I'm wondering how often these types of stories surface?

If they are pretty regular things, then they probably don't mean much right?

Symantec sees the Mac getting more popular and wants to scare up some business. You'll hear news like this from time to time but I wouldn't worry about it. The Mac is a really safe platform with its Unix core and is 99.99% better than Windows.

Well, I suppose it'll happen one day or another. No OS is perfect. And spyware can inflict any OS if the user installs it. I hope there's no revenue in it on the Mac though.

I'd like to see more people come over to the Mac but the downside of more people switching over is a bigger threat of more viruses and vulnerabilities. I just hope Apple can stay on top of it!

Maybe they should worry about their own security! Mr. Green
