Which chipset and full Linux OS?

It seems there are a fewmajor GPU's and they use different chipsets, in use with Intel Atom CPU's, as I know not the true name of the chipsets and I care more about GPU I'll divide by GPU into categories:
GMA 500
GMA 950
GMA 3150
nVidia ION (LE)

Now out of those only the ION platform has HD capabilites. I'm just looking into a netbook under $400 that can run Fedora or Ubuntu with high usability (no issue with Wi-Fi, major sound issues, suspend and resume), preferably with nVidia ION and HDMI out.
